Fellow Anglers,
Twenty one anglers showed up on a great day of fishing on Rayburn. The weather was great starting out in the low 50's and warming up to the low 70's. It was partly cloudly with light winds most of the day. The water was clear to stain with the temp around 55 to 57 degrees. The lake level was low but was at a steady level.
The anglers launch out of Caney Creek once again since the limited ramps on Rayburn. There were 15 anglers that brought back a limit to the scales, but only 4 fish were weighed in over the 4lb mark.
First Place went to Jimbo Jennings with a 3 fish limit of 13-11.5 Jimbo had a 5-14 and a 4-10 that took 1st & 2nd Big Bass. Jimbo reported that his bait of choice for the day was a Deep Diving Crank Bait. He was fishing in the Black Forest area.
Second Place went to Elton Oxley with a 3 fish limit of 8-6.
Third Place went to David May with a 3 fish limit of 8-3.
Fourth Place went to Brian French with a 3 fish limit of 8-0.5
Second thru fourth all came from, yes you guess it, Harvey Creek Area. The baits used range from plastic to traps.

Sorry, but due to the Tournament being schedule on April 21 which is the same weekend of the McDonald Big Bass Splash, I had to make some changes to the schedule. Please let me know if there is an issue.

The next tournament will be at Five Fingers on Rayburn Jan 28th you need to be there and paid by 6:30am.
